The Ice Man's Artificial Glaciers Dams in the Himalayas - Climate Heroes
Chewang Norphel, a 79 years old civil engineer from Ladakh, India, started building dams, or artificial glaciers, out of ice, 30 years ago, in order to efficiently use the water gathered from melting ice in the Himalayas. People call him Ice Man for his true inspiration for innovations in water conversation.
